5 Day Trip
Your journey begins with a scenic three-hour hike into our remote Mount Romulus base camp. As you follow forested trails through alpine wilderness, your gear is transported by our trusted trail horses and horse-drawn wagon. It's backpacking reimagined, leaving you free to enjoy the trail, the views, and the moment more easily.
Once at camp, you'll settle into a fully equipped base complete with spacious walled tents, cozy cots, and wood stoves in select tents to keep you warm on cool mountain nights. Enjoy delicious meals crafted by our talented backcountry cooks, and unwind each evening beside the campfire under a canopy of stars. Share stories, laughter, and connection with fellow adventurers or simply soak in the peace and quiet of the backcountry.
Over the course of five days and four nights, you'll explore the surrounding wilderness through optional guided hikes to panoramic lookout points and hidden gems. Wildlife sightings of moose, elk, deer, and even bears are not uncommon, and the blooming wildflowers and mountain air add to the magic of each day on trail.
